To enable out of hours community use the Library Unit should be ideally located near the school boundary and be able to be isolated from the school security system.
The Library Unit is the major resource hub of the school, containing a wide variety of learning facilities available for individual, group or class use. There is potential for out of hours community use of this unit. This facility is a focal point for educational activities and should cater for the full range of learning modes and activities.

The 3 attached colour schemes have been developed by interior designers from NSW Government Architects Office (GAO). They have been produced to give advice regarding colours and material choices for works in schools. The schemes have been endorsed by DoE but are provided as a guide only.
