Main Communications Room

The Main Communications Room is a specifically dedicated to contain the school’s primary telecommunications server and data storage equipment. This space is primarily used by ITD and school staff responsible for the maintenance of the schools network system and accomodates the schools campus distributor cabinets.

Room Relationships

This space is found in the Library Unit.

This room should be physically located centrally on the site and building to minimize cable pathways.

Maximum fixed cable pathway length is 90M, Use 70M radius as approximate working guide for cable coverage.

To be located in a secure location with no external or student access.
