1.1 Site Access Restrictions

GUIDE NOTE: Delete SITE ACCESS RESTRICTIONS – CONDITIONS OF TENDERING nominated in the Procurement System for Construction standard form document and replace with the following (schools specific):

GUIDE NOTE: Mandatory when part of the site or buildings are occupied and unrestricted access by Tenderers is not desirable or possible.

In consultation with the client, and proposed senior officer responsible for contracts in region or project where work is located, establish security and access restrictions to be imposed on visitors associated with tendering. Refer also to clauses preliminaries - site access and limitations and occupied premises.

Insert the following:

Tenderers and their agents or representatives must observe the following access restrictions:

They must obtain permission to inspect the Site from the Client's Representative at least 48 hours prior to requiring access to the Site;
All contractor staff, suppliers and sub-contractors must sign the Site Visit Log at the Administration Office.
Upon arrival they must introduce themselves at the Client Representative's office, at the pre-arranged time, prior to undertaking their inspection of the Site.

Tenderers must telephone the Contact Officer if they experience difficulty in securing an appointment with the Client's Representative concerning site inspection.

The Client's Representative may be contacted on weekdays between 9.00am and 3.30pm as follows:
