Walls

  • Brickwork/blockwork is preferred with fair face to habitable spaces and non-fair face to stores, corridors or behind black boards and pinboards.
  • Face brickwork/blockwork to have no cutting; conduits surface mounted.
  • Stud Framing: line with termite resistant materials and impact resistant materials to at least 2100mm in all pupil areas area with  regular commercial grade plasterboard above.
  • Splash backs must be provided above and beside all sanitary fixtures and continued along adjacent benches.
  • Water Resistance is required in areas susceptible to extensive water usage & washing down.
  • Skirting for protection from floor cleaning.
  • Pin board to locations nominated in EFSG Room Data.
